It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth Solomon of Vandergrift, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 26, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Elias and Bessie Elias (Saleet); her husband George Solomon; and her siblings, Joseph, Louis "Doc", Samuel, George, James Elias and Fannie Sara Corey.
She is survived by: her children, Debra L. "Debbie" DeLuca (Robert) of Vandergrift, George M. Solomon (Michelle) of Oak Ridge, TN and Dana M. Beatty (Robert) of Washington Township; and her grandchildren, Gina DeLuca, Sonja Solomon, Alexandra DeLuca (Stephen Schwab) and Laurel Beatty. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered in Betty's memory to Meals on Wheels, 167 Lincoln Ave., Vandergrift, PA 15690 or to St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church, 303 Franklin Ave., Vandergrift, PA 15690.
