It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Dorothy (Dot) Keddie (Vandergrift, Pennsylvania), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away at the age of 96, on November 23, 2021. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Regis; her parent Butler; her children, Regis II, John, Mary Catherine, James, Terese, Michelle, Gertrudann and Michael; her sister Marie; and her brother-in-law Paul of St. Louis. She was also cherished by eighteen grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren.
Despite the stresses caused by Covid, her caregivers were always attentive and gentle with our mother and she benefited greatly from their kindness. Due to the constraints brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, visitation will be private for family members only and will be followed by a PUBLIC Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 1:00 p. m. at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, 303 Franklin Ave., Vandergrift, PA., with Father James Loew, O. S. B. as celebrant.
