Brooks L. Breakey Obituary
The memory of Brooks L. Breakey (Vandergrift, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 9, 2025 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Brooks may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Brooks touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Beryl C. Breakey and Margaret A. Breakey (Thomas). He is survived by: his wife Janet L. Breakey (Rishel); his daughter Mollie B. (William); his grandchildren, Cheyenne R. Cramer and Clayton J. Cramer; and his brother G. Kirkwood Breakey (Daria). He is also survived by five nieces/nephews and several great-nieces/nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Dunmire-Kerr & Rowe Funeral Home, Inc. (244 Franklin Ave, Vandergrift, PA 15690). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations in Brooks name can be sent to the Little Longears Donkey Rescue, 1079 Turkey Pit Rd., New, Oxford, PA, 17350.
