He was predeceased by: his wife Helen I. Artman (Walker); his son Terry M. Artman; his grandson Easton Artman; his daughter-in-law Jacqulynn Artman; his sisters, Val Jean Summerhill and Shirley Artman; and his brother-in-law Albert Summerhill.
He is survived by: his spouse Walker Artman; and his sons, Ken Artman, Anita Artman of Vandergrift, Rodney Artman, Sherry Artman of Parks Township, Gregg Artman of Parks Township, Daniel Artman and Tammy Artman of Gilpin Township. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
