She was predeceased by: her parents, Salvatore Palattella and Mary Palattella (Cristello); her husband James "Jim" Dunmire; and her brother Vito Palattella. She is survived by: her children, James L. Dunmire of Gilpin Township, Michele L. Horrell (Gregg) of Kiski Township and Steven L. Dunmire of Vandergrift; her grandchildren, Sarah Dunmire, James Dunmire, Gabriella Dunmire, Stephanie Horrell and Aaron Horrell; her great grandchildren, Leann Scanga and Morgan Campbell; and her sister Martha Caratelli of Vandergrift. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Betty's memory to St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church, 303 Franklin Ave., Vandergrift, PA 15690.
