We bid farewell to Arthur E. Summerhill (Vandergrift, Pennsylvania), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 22, 2025 at the age of 83. Arthur touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Summerhill and Helen Summerhill (Fouse). He is survived by: his wife Sandra Summerhill (Hawk); his son Michael of Parks Township; his grandsons, Baylee Summerhill (Danielle) and Brenden Summerhill; his great grandchildren, Ella Grace and Everett; his siblings, Alberta Altmeyer (late William), Donald Summerhill (Lydia) of Apollo and David Summerhill (Karen) of Michigan; and his friends, Dave, Sam and Nancy Busch. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Highfield Lutheran Church (1595 Dime Rd, Vandergrift, PA 15690). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Arthur's name to St. Paul's Highfield Lutheran Church, 1595 Dime Road, Vandergrift, PA 15690.
