He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel R. Long and Bernadine Saxion Long; and his siblings, Gladys Chernan, Daniel and Harry Long.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Sheaffer Long of Kiski Township; his children, Karrie Thomas (Robertson) of Virginia Beach, Debbie Long (Richard Radebach) of Parks Township, Kellie Cervini (Steve) of Vineland, NJ. and Samuel Long (Dawn) of Freeport; and his grandchildren, Morgan, Ryan Thomas, Mitchell and Jacob Rapp.
