She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincenzo Scanga and Emilia Scanga (Coscarelli); her husband Ralph Scanga; her daughter Mary Scanga; her grandson R. Anthony Scanga; and her siblings, Ralph, Nicola Scanga and Ann Scanga.
She is survived by: her children, Mia Scanga, Ralph Scanga, Jr., Patricia Beneccio (Barry) and Frank Scanga (Janine); her grandchildren, Dominick Scanga (Melissa), Chris Scanga, Nick Scanga, Gina Beneccio and Stephanie Riffer; her great grandchildren, Leann and Isabella; and her sisters, Filomena Pisani and Joanne Serravalli (Pasquale). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
