He was predeceased by: his parents, William Strickler Sr. and Clara Thompson Strickler; his wife Margaret Strickler; his daughter Linda Sickles; and his siblings, Maurice Strickler and Shirley Crouch.
He is survived by: his daughter Debra Russo of Arnold City; his siblings, Betty Lerch of Vanderbilt, Anna Lee Fike of Painsville, OH, Darlene Diethorn of Charleroi and James Strickler of Vanderbilt; and his grandchildren, Carmel Catura (Sam), Daniel Geary, Michelle Hinerman, David Geary and Joseph Russo. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
