She was predeceased by: her parents, William E. Strickler and Clara Belle Thompson Strickler; her husband Melvin E. Lerch Sr.; and her siblings, William Strickler, Maurice 'Bud Strickler, Shirley Crouch and Darlene Diethorn.

She is survived by: her children, Barbara Shahan (Delbert) of Franklin Twp, Beverly Rimel, Bonnie Warnick (Randy) of Smock, Melvin Lerch Jr. of Vanderbilt and Belinda Heffern (Bruce Hixson) of Franklin Twp; her grandchildren, Donna Zuzak and Steve Capan; and her siblings, James Strickler of Perry Twp and Anna Fike of Ohio. She is also survived by grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
