She was predeceased by: her parents, John Frederick and Mildred Stuempfle (Deitrick); her sister Joan Fredericka Stuempfle; her children, Matthew Philip Hessert and Deborah Hessert Bower; her stepson Ric Haas; and her son-in-law Peter Taub.
She is survived by: her husband Richard C. Haas; her children, Buddy Hessert (Janet) of Loyalsock, Mark Hessert (Cheri) of Greenville, NC, Marc Haas (Diane) of Montoursville, Cathy Taub (Alan Michaels) of New Albany, OH and David Haas (Joan Marie) of Annapolis, MD; her children-in-law, James Bower of Williamsport and Sheila Kimble-Haas of La Liviniere; her grandchildren, Derek, Jessi, Logan, Nicholas, Ben, Amy, Tyler, Catherine, Casey, Jacob and Gabriel; her great grandchildren, Aryanna, Noah, Elijah, Riley, Joanna, Jack, Sallie Claire and Magnolia Mae; her brothers, John Stuempfle (Marian) and Michael Stuempfle (Kathy); and her stepmother Travilla VonDreele Stuempfle.
