He was predeceased by: his parents, Torrence Drake and Dola Drake (Crotsley); his children, Josephine M. Harris and Homer C. Ripple Jr.; and his sisters, Judith Heidler and Linda Drake.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Drake (Woodward); and his children, Tina Sheeder (Wyatt), Patty Zook (Robert), Wayne Ripple (Louann), Gary Drake Jr. (Beth) and Mark Drake (Shilo). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
