He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Stafford Briggs and Nellie Evan Briggs; his former wife Jean; his wife Mary; and his siblings, Harry (Sally), George and Mildred Fulton (David).
He is survived by: his children, William C. (Peggy), Joan H. Rozran (Tony), Helen G. Bohannon (Michael) and Norman W. (Nanette); and his stepchildren, David Fokey (Annie) and Karen Randazzo (Paul). He is also survived by his 20 Grandchildren, 6 Great grandchildren.
