She was predeceased by: her parent William E. Walters. She is survived by: her parent Grace Walters (Wimer); her daughters, Melanie Elizabeth Sekowski of Raleigh and Megan Leah Houck of Mars; her grandson Jacob Thomas Houck; and her siblings, William Walters, Jr. (Karen), Cheryl Walters of Valencia, Denise White (Dan) of West Virginia and Grace Koman (Ron) of Tennessee. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
