He was predeceased by: his parents, Sabina Flores-Cotto and Carmen Flores-Cotto; and his son Daniel Cotto. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn M. Lawther Cotto; his children, James Lawther (Sharon) of Valencia, David Cotto (Patty) of Allison Park, Charles Cotto of Valencia, Debra Lerch (Marko) of Valencia, Robin Cosme (Felix) of Valencia, Lisa Cotto (Dave) of Valencia, Kimberly Cotto-Mimm (late Shawn) of Valencia and Shannon Cotto (Dan) of Valencia; his grandchildren, Nicole, Kristen, Kurtis, Tyler, Alex, Kevin, Alaina, Emma and Adalyn; his great grandchildren, Alaya, Avery, Autumn, Max, Briella and Lucas; and his siblings, Reynaldo Cotto-Flores of Puerto Rico, Luz Cotto of Puerto Rico and Anna Maldonado.
