He was predeceased by: his parents, Regina Ziemkiewicz (Szymkiewicz) and Henry P Ziemkiewicz; his son Christopher P. Ziemkiewicz; and his sister Kathi Marasia. He is survived by: his wife Frances R. Ziemkiewicz (Arevalo); his sons, Jeffrey R. Ziemkiewicz (Kristin) of Sarver and Gregory M. Ziemkiewicz (Traci) of Ambridge; and his grandchildren, Logan, Kailyn, Caleb, Joshua and Maria Ziemkiewicz.
