He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert W. Simmers and Mary Berger Simmers. He is survived by: his wife Rachel M. Lipinski; his children, David R. Simmers (Christina) of Butler, Kristen R. Swigart (Douglas) of Valencia and Rebecca A. Toy (Christopher) of Fenelton; his grandchildren, Dylan, Elly, Jacob, Zoey and Lily; and his sister Barbara J. Janicki (Jack) of Butler. He is also survived by many in-laws and friends.
