She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Sims and Sesta Harvey Sims; and her husband Howard L. Leslie. She is survived by: her child Meredith Lynn Leslie; and her niece Susan E. Cogswell.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Butler County Humane Society, Butlercountyhs.org.
