She was predeceased by: her parents, Clements Q. Shurman and Julia Shurman (Loeffler); her husbands, William E. Bruce Jr. and Theron R. Carr; and her grandson Craig Bruce.
She is survived by: her children, William E. Bruce III (Barb Roney) of North Strabane and Dale T. Bruce (Judy) of Ross Township; her grandchildren, Somer Butler (Bobby), Gregory Bruce (Amanda), Shane Bruce and Kelsey Bruce; and her great grandchildren, Ava, Grace Butler and Parker Bruce.
