It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marian Black (Valencia, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 3, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marian Black to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Verne Purvis and Beulah Miller Purvis; her husband James D. Black; her daughter Rebecca Lee Black; her siblings, Samuel Purvis, Jean Misko Johnston and Jessie Mae Thieleman; and her grandson Cody Kier.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Maurhoff (Bill) of Valencia and Carol Kier (late Gary) of Valencia; her brother David Purvis (Bonnie) of Valencia; her brother-in-law Donald Thieleman of Mars; and her aunt Grace Brandon of Stowe, OH. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
