He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Shimkus and Julie Kriska Shimkus; his spouse Beverly J. Hines Shimkus; his sons, Bruce Houck (Kimberly) and Todd Pangallo (Jodi); his sister Janet Elrod (Don); his grandchildren, Amberley, Ryan, Bruce, Jordan, Nathan, Rylie and Tyler; and his great grandchildren, Luke, Parker, August and Andy.
