He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Mattinat and Theresa Tucciarone Mattinat; his wife Elizabeth "Libby" Pettit Mattinat; and his sister Theresa Carano. He is survived by: his daughters, Adele Spegman (Jerry), Amy Mattinat (Peter Krupkowski) and Betsy Millstine (Mark); his sister Carole Bryant; and his grandchildren, Martha (Ivan), Abby (Patrick), Nadia, Hannah and Erik.
