He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Horst and Esther Eby Horst. He is survived by: his wife Alma Karns Horst; his son Randy Lynn Horst of Coraopolis; his foster sons, Jordi Roman (Josi), Robert Seaton (Chrissy) and Charlie Ketcham (Crystal); and his brothers, James Horst and David Horst.
