It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Rae Carson of Valencia, Pennsylvania, born in Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on November 22, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John Joseph Carson, Sr.; her parents, Harvey Christensen and Maxine Christensen; and her former husband Francis X. Budnik. She is survived by: her daughter Linda Tessmer (David Tessmer) of Wexford, PA; her stepchildren, Jack Carson (Kathy Carson) of Fremont, NH, Collette Carson (Jeff Porter) of Pelham, NH and Bill Carson (Kim Chase) of Kingston, NH; her sister Karen Watts (Jim Watts) of Lacey, WA; and her grandchildren, Lisa Frances Creamer (Tim Creamer) of Pittsburgh, PA, Ashley Rae Dey (Eric Dey) of Brunswick, OH, Ryan David Tessmer of Wexford, PA, Meredith Carson (Tom Gibney) of Lewiston, ME, Brett Carson (Jen Carson) of Salem, NH, Matthew Carson of Washington, DC, Nicholas Carson of Portsmouth, NH, Justin Carson of Kingston, NH, Michael Porter of Salem, NH and Daniel Porter of Pelham, NH. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
