He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hoffmann and Regina "Jean" Hoffmann (Farbacher); and his siblings, Alta Zimmerman, Lawrence "Bud" Hoffmann, Richard Hoffmann and Mary Koraido.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Hoffmann; his children, Fred R. Hoffmann Jr. (Lori) and Susan C. Anderson (Bob); his grandchildren, Fred R. Hoffmann III, Dan Hoffmann (Abigail), Lauren Miloser (Brennan) and Jennifer Anderson; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Taylor, Riley, Rhys, Nolan and Lucas; his brothers, Ralph Hoffmann (Marleen) and Joseph Hoffmann (Patricia); and his pet Charlie.
