He was predeceased by: his parents, G. R. Lingam Nunna and Varalakshmi Nunna; and his brother Vidhyadhar. He is survived by: his wife Sitalakshmi "Sita" Nunna; his daughters, Jyothi (Shyam Jayaraman), Madhari (Michael Rubbo), Jyothsna and Manjula; his grandchildren, Meghana, Naveen, Devin, Khalin, Zahra and Nisha; and his siblings, Janardhan Nunna, Yijaya, Suguna, Arana and Rajeswari. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
