She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon S. Wetherbee and Rosa Mae Wetherbee (Smith); her husband Harry E. "Gene" Eakin; her siblings, George Wetherbee (Virene), Charles, Theola Maxine Schierer (Richard), Craig Wetherbee (Lois) and Lena Gilson (Robert); her son Michael H. Eakin; and her grandson Thomas W. Deibert, II.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Adamchik (Ronald) of Kennerdell, PA, Patricia Deibert (Scott) of Sheboygan Falls, WI and Douglas Eakin (Sandra) of Dillsburg, PA; her daughter-in-law Georgia Eakin of Franklin, PA; her stepson Richard Eakin (Debbie) of Utica, PA.; her grandchildren, Jonathan Deibert, Jodi Major, Michael R. Eakin, Jeromy Eakin, Brian Eakin, Travis Eakin, Monica Eakin, Richard Eakin Jr. and Nicholas Eakin; and her siblings-in-law, Patricia Eakin, Sarah Jane Barnes and Robert Eakin (Carol). She is also survived by many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
