He was predeceased by: his daughter Lisa Wren. He is survived by: his son Martin J. Smith of Granby, Colo.; his wife Helen; and his sons, William Jr., Palm and David Vance Smith. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
