Sylvan Holzer Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 16, 2024, Sylvan Holzer of Upper Saint Clair, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Sylvan's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Sylvan's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as his find rest in the embrace of eternity.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Cathy; his brother Dennis; his children, Brian and Jodie; and his parents, Max Holzer and Charlotte Holzer. He was also cherished by five grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sy Holzer Endowed Immunotherapy Research Fund at the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center.
