She was predeceased by: her husband William W. "Bill" McVay; her son William W. McVay III; her siblings, Margaret P. Waters and Austin Andrew Provins, MD; and her parents, Marie Rinard Provins and Asa Austin Provins.
She is survived by: her children, Janice M. McVay (John M. Bell) and James Mortimer McVay II; and her daughter-in-law Suzanne McVay. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
