He was predeceased by: his parent Elmer G.; his former wife Betty Jean Eganhouse (Merritt); and his siblings, George, Merton, Vernon, Leland, Thomas, Gerald, Carmen and Rosemary.

He is survived by: his parent Amelia M. Eganhouse (Kieffer); his wife Marilyn Conway Eganhouse; his son Robert P. Eganhouse, Jr.; his wife Katrina of Oak Hill, VA; his brother David Eganhouse of Maquoketa, IA; his grandchildren, Matthew C. Eganhouse, Danielle M. Eganhouse, Jeffrey A. Eganhouse, Jack C. Eganhouse and Elizabeth R. Eganhouse; his great grandchildren, Emma E. and Kellan G. Eganhouse; and also, Jeffrey J. Eganhouse of Macomb Township, MI and Jon C. Eganhouse of Playa.
