He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Percy and Blanche Burtt; his wife Aileen W. Burtt; his child Kelly Ann Burtt-Edgar; and his sister Jane Washburn.
He is survived by: his children, Robert E. Burtt Jr. and Anders J. Burtt; and his grandchildren, Leif, Gretta Burtt-Edgar and Robbie Burtt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
