As Lawrence departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lawrence may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lawrence leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lawrence J. Elborne, Sr. and Elizabeth A. Elborne; his spouse Jackie Prescott Elborne; and his children, Thomas Elborne of Chicago, IL and Vicki Elborne of Pittsburgh. He was also cherished by 2 grandchildren, 3 brothers, 3 sisters and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his memory can be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (online: ASPCA) or to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
