She was loved and cherished by many people including: her child Lilu Jane Yakelis; her parents, Martin J. Pawlak and Jane M. Pawlak (Wyland); her siblings, Courtney Newhouse (Jason) and Marty Pawlak; her fiancé Christopher; her nephews, Marcus and Julian Newhouse; and her grandparents, Walter J., Elizabeth, Wyland, Martin and Dolores "Mimi" Pawlak. She was also cherished by her numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations suggested to the Western PA School for Blind Children, 201 N. Bellefield Ave, Pgh, PA, 15213.

“I knew Jilly as she called herself to me from back in August of 2019. I was just googling her bc we were supposed to call her for something. I am speechless, there are no words. My greatest condolences go out to her little one, lilu. She spoke so often and much of her. I’m beside myself. Prayers for the family I will def be praying. Again there are no words I’m still in shock. She was such a beautiful person inside and out.”
