He is survived by: his spouse Carol Donnelly; his children, Pam Nickol (Roger) and Jim Donnelly III; his grandchildren, Jacob Donnelly and Joshua Donnelly; his siblings, Sharon Broemsen-Fish (Ron) and Sandy Scully; and also Cherished. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family suggests that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made on Jim's behalf to the American Diabetes Association.
