He was predeceased by: his parents, William M. Elliott and Irene Elliott (Bibb); and his brother James A. Elliott. He is survived by: his wife Susan Elliott (Royston); his children, Janet Elliott Balent (David) and Jack W. Elliott (Mary Jo); and his grandchildren, James R. Elliott (Michelle), Jenna Balent Hoover (Richard), David Balent (Valerie), Ryan Balent (Tina), Laura Elliott Foster (Craig), Eric Elliott (Katie), Emily Elliott Dickman (CJ), Jackson Elliott (Hannah), Delaney Elliott Fellabaum (Henry) and Davis Elliott (Alexis Smith).
