With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Henriette Sassouni of Upper Saint Clair, Pennsylvania, born in Bordeaux, Aquitaine, who passed away on June 2, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Louise (Descrières) and Dr. Henri Bergé; and her brother Dr. Max Bergé. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Anouk L. Sassouni, Chris Garo Sassouni (Carol), Nadia Sassouni and Helen Mann; her grandchildren, Michelle Sassouni, George M. Asrian and Christopher Sassouni; her brother Georges Bergé-Descrières; and her husband Dr. Viken Sassouni. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cherished friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation (https: //http://www.macular.org).
