It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gilbert C. McCurrie of Upper Saint Clair, Pennsylvania, born in Kearny, New Jersey, who passed away on August 25, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Paul (Liz McCurrie); his brother-in-law Jack Glynn; and his grandson Gregory McCurrie. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou McCurrie (Howley); his son J. Daniel (Donna) of Pittsburgh, PA; his grandchildren, Gilbert Connor (Marissa), Riley (Sam Hyder), Mel, Ray, Edy, Bradley (Donna) of Los Gatos, CA, Matthew, Megan, Brian (Barbara) of Pittsburgh, PA, James, Michael (Julia), David, Robert and Kathleen; and his sister Anita Glynn (McCurrie). He is also survived by grandchildren, (6) great-grandchildren and (9) nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Western PA School for Blind Children or the Alzheimer's Association.
