He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdinand Hrutkay and Grace Groskoff Hrutkay; and his wife Laura Benedetti. He is survived by: his children, Greg Hrutkay (Brenda), Jeff Hrutkay (Veronica), Lori Clairmont and Heather Stubert (Tim); his grandchildren, Matthew (Katarina), Kelley, Kyle (Sevan), Corey Hrutkay (Maria) and Dylan Clairmont; his great grandchildren, Lucas, Lyvia, Mila, Kai, Cal, Max Hrutkay and Wagner Clairmont Thompson; his siblings, Joseph, Frank, Steve, Edward, Charles, John Hrutkay, Margaret Redmerski and Irene Thames; and his grandson Ryan Clairmont.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc. (809 Main St, Bentleyville, PA 15314). A prayer was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Katharine Drexel Parish (126 Church St, Bentleyville, PA 15314). A burial was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery (97 Sacred Heart Rd, Monongahela, PA 15063).
