He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Yuliya Berezkin (Rapoport); his granddaughter Anna Beryozkina; his parents, Klara Beryozkin (Klaf) and Anatoly Beryozkin; his sibling Faina Geldman (Leonid); his parents-in-law, Lyubov and Leonid Rapoport; and also Lev Beryozkin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The ALS Association, Western Pennsylvania Chapter.
