It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francis Richard Cortes of Upper Saint Clair, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 24, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Cortes and Joann Cortes (Midili); and his sister Mary Ellen Luchok (John). He is survived by: his spouse Gerry Cortes (Zandier); his children, Jill Chlystek (Michael), Susan Cortes, Matthew Cortes (Loire), John Cortes (Cara) and Janet Henderson (Tim); his grandchildren, Marlee, Samuel, Maya Chlystek, Matthew, Luke Mitchell, Alex, Dominic, Gino Cortes, Emmy Cortes, Jonas Wells and Isla Henderson; his brother Ronald Cortes (Carole); and his brother-in-law David Zandier (Sharon). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to People Concerned for the Unborn Child or St. Louise de Marillac School.
