She was predeceased by: her son Brian J.; her siblings, Gilbert Lehner (late Bernice) and Patricia Buechel; her sister-in-law Dorothy Smith (late Leonard); her parents, Gilbert Lehner and Margaret Lehner (Mueller); and also Lynn Kilhefner.
She is survived by: her children, Carl J. Smith, Jr. (Janet Wessel), Mark A. Smith and Shawn T. Smith (Alison); her grandchildren, Brennen Smith, Jennifer Starr (Bryan), Brooke Cardile (David), Morgan Smith, Mario Smith and Francisco Smith; her great grandchildren, Morris "Mo" Starr and Landon Cardile; and her nieces and nephews, Steve Lehner, Tina Petterson, Tricia Lehner, Nancy Link, Joseph Smith, Rosanne Cone, Sandy Checca and Bruce Smith.
