He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kendrick and Elizabeth Hitson (Stabler); and his brother Archie. He is survived by: his wife Anna Maria Hitson (Hellwig); his son Charles Peter; his daughter-in-law Gillian Hitson (Lewis); his grandchildren, Spencer Peter of Simsbury, CT., Charles Richard of Simsbury, CT. and Katherine Rose of Simsbury, CT.; his niece Amanda Cassity (Hitson); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jed and Mary Grace.
