He is survived by: his children, Leon III, Timothy Kleckner (Kara), Susanna-Fei and Katharine Thi Koethe; his siblings, Agnes Outten (James) and Brian Kleckner; and his grandchildren, Leon IV, Jonathan and Jessica Kleckner. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
