He was predeceased by: his parents, Vangjel Shyti and Haritini Shyti; and his siblings, Kristafgji, Theodhor and Llukan Shyti.
He is survived by: his spouse Theodhora Shyti; his children, Rafael Shyti (Eranda) and Eleni Gkoulis (Petros); and his grandchildren, Victor Shyti, Elliot C. Shyti, Anna Gkoulis and Violeta Gkoulis.
