He was predeceased by: his parents, Omiros and Nikoletta Zacharatos; and his siblings, Sotiroula Douis, Marianthe Karlik, Polixeni Karalis, Paraskevi Kontaras and Antonios Zacharatos.
He is survived by: his wife Angeliki Zacharatos; and his children, Omiros (Elizabeth Zacharatos), Vasilios (Kiki Zacharatos), Mario (Elizabeth Zacharatos), Nikoletta (Matthew Soler), Fotoula (Michael Newborg) and Erica "Erikaki" Rapp. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, Upper Darby, Pa.
