It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rosa Maria Gerena of Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 16, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Rosa shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Rosa farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Librado Gerena and Juana Gerena (Lozada); and her siblings, Manolin Gerena and Adelida Gerena. She is survived by: her sibling Librado Gerena, Jr.; her child Katiuska "Kat" Jones (Herman, Sr.); and her grandchildren, Antonio Luis Santiago, Jr., Shabella K. Rideout-Perkins and Kayla Santiago. She is also survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, brother, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Logan-Videon Funeral Home (2001 Sproul Rd, Broomall, PA 19008). A prayer was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
