Francois wrote a sympathy message

“Bob was an inspiration for me He was not only a very good person. He was also talented in a lot of ways. An intellectually curious individual who found interest in anything you presented him with. He must have been a positive force for many who knew him. He was for me. I'm glad he did teaching and that kids, some of whom came from difficult backgrounds, had him as an adult mentor. He could laugh at some of it too. He certainly had me laughing. Unfortunately I cant write more here.”
