He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Luther E. Piersol and Patricia Piersol (Guzzetti); his wife Catherine Verrier Piersol; his sons, Luke Allson Piersol and Joshua Anthonie Piersol; his siblings, Michael Piersol (Jamie), Steven Piersol and Kristen Piersol-Stockton (Jerry); and his friend David L. Moyer (Alison).
