He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Chappelle and Elizabeth Chappelle; and his siblings, Maureen Simpson, Joseph Chappelle and Dan Chappelle (Stephanie).
He is survived by: his wife Sherry A. Chappelle; his stepsons, Elton Koroly and Elliott Koroly; his granddaughter Lily Koroly; and his siblings, Karen Curley (late Robert), Donna Bowser (Ken), David Chappelle (Catherine), Mary Stahler (John) and Jeanne Brahl (Kevin). He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews.
